Zynga announced a new partnership with credit card company American Express that will allow American Express customers to use their Membership Rewards points to redeem for Zynga’s virtual goods and Game Cards.

This is the first time ever that a financial service company has offered virtual goods as reward benefits. Some of the FarmVille American Express exclusive redemption prizes include:

• FarmVille Blue Manor – 1,300 points
• FarmVille Purple Cow – 540 points
• FarmVille Manx Cat – 435 points
