FarmVille Note of Sheep Breeding For All ((More Information Here))

Zynga and FarmVille.com have released a statement in regards to the breeding of “illegal” sheep, and changes to the sheep breeding process.

Most importantly, and much to the surprise of this farmer, several sheep that have been created since the inception of sheep breeding have been deemed “illegal” by Zynga. The way players have been obtain the “illegal” sheep has been taken care of. However, FarmVille.com’s statement indicates that since a large number of these sheep have been circulating for some time and they do not have data on who began the process of sharing these sheep they will not go to any great lengths to remove these sheep from anyone’s farm.

Also, as many of our farming followers know, when creating lambs, there was a pattern to the gender output. Commonly, three female lambs (ewe) and then one male lamb (ram) was the order. Zynga has decided it better to make the gender of each lamb completely random. One thing to note is, you are more likely to get a ewe instead of a ram.

Lastly, the statement lets us know that the 100 sheep limit applies to both your home farm and your English Countryside farm. In total you may only have 100 sheep at any given time.

Since having the “illegal” sheep is technically cheating, are you glad Zynga has made an exception to their “cheating” policy and allowed farmers to keep their “illegally obtained” sheep?
